Anarchy Rules
"This is not a crime that they're going after," said Rob Bernstein, deputy editor at New York City-based Sync magazine.
I read this quote from a news post this morning and it reminded me of this similar post, : "...over 80% of youths polled said they had used illegal drugs." Well, this is just the tip of the iceberg for those out there screaming, "Anarchy!"
This is what you get when you have men spending the days, weeks, and months working to, "pass laws." To my dear friends in the US Congress and their hopeful counterparts in local, county and state government; a word of advice: "I don't believe your plan is working." In fact, if its doing anything, I believe it is having the opposite effect. The more laws you people pass, the more laws people disobey. There is a simple reason for this; most of the laws we get shoved down our throats these days are of the victimless sort. They proclaim to have a deleterious effect on 'society' but since no one can identify 'society' no one sees this as a 'crime.'
This is why people 'cheat' on their taxes. Use 'illegal' drugs. Engage in all sorts of vice. You try convincing people they are 'hurting' themselves and see what a variety of answers you get. Oh well, this is exactly what I suspected would eventually happen. And naturally, government always needs more money to 'fight' crime. Meanwhile, too many laws, reaps crime and more crime.
I used to think this was one way of bringing down the government. However, now I think this is just the elitists way of making everyone a 'criminal' so if you get on some 'influential' persons bad side, they can have you arrested. After all, with everything being a "crime" how hard would they have to look before they found a "law" that you broke?
